On this day in 1941 the legendary Big Jim Sullivan was born. Sullivan was an early guitar teacher to Ritchie Blackmore as well as being one of the most sought after session guitarists in England. Sadly Jim passed away in 2012. What are your favorite works by Jim Sullivan?

On this day in 1950 the legendary Bob Daisley was born. Bob has lent his songwriting and bass playing to numerous exceptional acts (including Rainbow, Ozzy, Sabbath, Uriah Heep, etc.) Bob has always made a huge mark in any project he's been involved with. Happy birthday, Bob!
