The "alignment" problem in artificial intelligence development is not new or unique. It is merely an external extension of the same "alignment" problem that has plagued all of human existence. If human beings can't agree on what is ethical, right or good, how can we expect A.I. to know?

There is no such thing as "Common Sense", only the perception of "Common Sense".

For if "Common Sense" was true and real, then everyone would agree on exactly what it is and how to act upon it.....
