I don’t think anyone is prepared for what they just did w/ ICE.
This is not a simple budget increase. It is an explosion - making ICE bigger than the FBI, US Bureau of Prisons, DEA,& others combined.
It is setting up to make what’s happening now look like child’s play. And people are disappearing.

Man…let’s remember when the studios were asking black creatives to be more involved and wanted to reach out back in 2020 after the Floyd case and had all the promises in the world of “we want more black voices” but to only ghost people from communications to ghosting on test opportunities.
No better day than today to discuss this, how our industry's treated black folks over the last decade is fucking shameful. Co-opted the image of their social movements, rug-pulled them with false promises of stability, exploited their vulnerabilities, then abandoned them. We gotta do better.
