Just wanted to say thanks to everyone here at Bluesky for the follows and the conversations and the constructive, substantive interaction. It's a great forum, a great resource for circulating and talking about the news, and -- most of all -- a pleasure. I'm grateful!

So triggered. Won’t share detail. 22 hours crying in bed in a gorgeous foreign city because self-care and mental hygiene are integral everywhere. My nervous system will reset and it’ll be back to adventures. Yesterday and today selfies to illustrate sop. Honour shadow work. Not just sunshine.

First day in Merida. Walked out of our beautiful air bnb to this gorgeous guy. What a great chair. And what a great, healthy carbon zero way to get that beautiful bad boy back hime to enjoy sitting on it after that big bike ride. All the points sir.

Enjoying beautiful Mexico on a journey we planned before the world got proper topsy turvy and frightening. Can’t really imagine passing through North America again for… hmm… about four years probably? What a crazy time to be alive. I’m bereft.

While I live in the city of sails, we’re not exactly salty sea dog types. Spend our time in the forest and garden. But we saw these zooming as we crossed the bridge and even we can appreciate the passionate design, engineering and teamwork needed to pull this all together. Very zoom.

Sooooo many bananas! So I made cake. Look at me zooming around the kitchen. Seriously actually an amazing feeling using produce from our very own farm. Peak happiness level situation for me anyway.

Over the last 5 years we’ve been chugging along pouring love into the soil and encouraging biodiversity, protecting waterways, and trapping pest species hate trapping the most but it’s really important)… relentless but rewarding. Garlic and fresh eggs from the feathered ladies.

Love my little itty bitty teeny tiny circle of trust… my rhombus of doubt is immense however.

Our silky rooster Rudyard is unwell. Hubby has been hand feeding and watering him every hour and set him up a medicine Buddha and prayer flags. I married the most incredibly kind person. Not convinced Rudy is gonna pull through but why not believe in miracles. And medicine. Guess we shall see

We always love Laos. Scrolling through last years’ photos. Next trip meant to be to Yucatan with four day stop in SoCal. Not certain it’s the right time to be visiting LA. If I felt like we could help somehow I’d be more inclined but I do not care to go and gawk.

My children will befriend canine guests at cafes or just general dog delights anywhere we go. It’s pretty cute… 🥰 animals are magic.
