I sure hope I can get home tonight from work. The snow is coming down but good. Gods that be, please don't let me spend the night in this hellhole.

Walz: What side do you want to be on? The side of an all powerful federal government that can kill, injure, menace and kidnap its citizens off the streets or on the side of a nurse at the V.A. who died bearing witness to such government

I just checked—it turns out that Art. II, Sec. 1 of the Constitution of the United States does *not* say "The executive Power shall be vested in a bunch of sociopaths who think they can do whatever the fuck they want and make shit up as they go along."

Great quote courtesy of @hcrichardson.bsky.social on propaganda methods of authoritarian governments:
‘We know we’re lying.
You know we’re lying.
We know you know we’re lying.
But you have to believe us anyway’.

Federal Pressure and Voter Data: Understanding the Strategy Behind Washington’s Demands
This archival analysis examines the federal demand for Minnesota’s voter registration data not as an isolated event, but as part of a broader governing pattern. Rather than routine oversight, the request reflects a strategy of coercive federal pressure, election centralization without legislation, and the normalization of authoritarian administrative control over democratic systems.

These actions should be a real concern for americans. 16 democrats just gave more power to the Regime. NATO will handle Greenland. We have to get this regime out. These democrats just don't understand the word no. They always fall for it thinking if they play nice the republicans will play nice.

Per Alex Pretti's family's wish, I'm getting this out, to get the truth out. Please read the whole statement, which continues in comments here:
“The sickening lies told about our son by the administration are reprehensible and disgusting. Alex is clearly not holding a gun (More in comments)

Truth.
FYI: Dems in the senate can't defund ICE. ICE is funded by the Big Ugly Bill. Shutting down DHS on this vote wouldn't touch ICE, but it would shut down FEMA, TSA, Coast Guard, etc. Shutting down ICE requires taking back Congress in the midterms. Dismantling DHS requires the White House in 2028.
