covid denialism is more insidious and arguably more damaging than climate crisis denial given how widespread the ideology and practices are (i.e. anti-maskers and those who no longer wear masks are effectively the same). furthermore environmental diseases alone are concerning!

it screams volumes about how entrenched anti-intellectualism (anti-science) is in this society when climate crisis deniers have been entirely eclipsed by covid and other airborne virus deniers/minimizers. the former is more fringe, whereas the latter is completely mainstream.
