⛵I've been following the Aberaeron harbour works closely, breaking story after story as new information on what went wrong comes to light.

The latest chapter in the tale is one of a boatwreck, caused by poorly marked rocks during the breakwater construction. Read sailor Martin's story here -

In the absence of any local government intervention, the Talybont Floodees took it upon themselves to protect their village.

14 years after a devastating flood, this team hike up the hills every week to plant 40,000 trees to slow the flow. This winter, they're aiming to plant another 12,000.

⛵They really pushed the boat out with this one...

No, really- I went out on a boat to see how the new £36m flood defences are causing havoc for Aberaeron's mariners.

📽️Watch and read about the councillors, residents and sailors who are baffled by Ceredigion's decisions for this scheme.
"Very narrow escape": Aberaeron residents await strategy for closing new flood gates
If the town’s over-budget marine defences are supposed to inspire confidence, they don’t. That’s why people and sailors there are very worried, so much so they’ve even named a new harbour build-up as ...

How many refugees and asylum seekers are there in Wales? The answer is - not a lot.

Local politicians I spoke to, including centre-right party Gwlad, said the issues they were most concerned with involved trying to KEEP people in the country, not trying to keep certain groups out.

I took a look under the hood at the teething pains with mid-Wales' dental care access, and the map shows a bleak (and blank) picture.

Will a new Aberystwyth-Bangor dental school solve the problem, and can mid-Wales' teeth wait that long?

Find out that and more in my latest feature below 👇
Teething pains: Superglue, pliers and years of tears
Mid and west Wales is a dental desert so barren of practitioners that patients have given up waiting years for an appointment or have turned to crude and dangerous fixes to fix their own teeth. But wi...
