Beginning to think some people don’t want the kids to have access to their phones in emergencies because they’re using them to document the trauma they’re going through every time there’s a shooting or a hoax and that doesn’t serve some people’s objective.

Same same. When my kids’ school was swatted 2 years ago they both texted me and I was able to tell them it was happening all over the state and in other parts of the country. Same recording. It put their minds at ease a bit till the swat team arrived, guns drawn, yelling at the kids to get hands up.

100%. My kid has to stick her phone in a cubby in every classroom she enters but I’m glad she has access to it if there’s an emergency. We hear about the times it’s gone sideways, how many times has it helped provide valuable info, evidence and proof of what our kids are going through?

These journalists who have been let go from networks and newspapers are now free to set up channels and outlets of their own where they’re unencumbered by corporate overlords telling them what to do. They still have their sources and relationships. I enjoy watching Don Lemon and Jim Acosta unleashed

Heather honestly I’m so grateful for the journalists who were let go in the past who are now able to be independent and report the truth without being encumbered by corporate telling them what to report and write. I know not everyone can do that, but I hope the ones who can, will.

I felt like I’d lost my patriotism entirely for a while there but wow the people of Minnesota brought it back in a big way. They made me realize that they represent the country I love, not the people working for this administration. I can’t wait to pour some money into MN’s economy when I can.

I read years ago something about if you want to destroy a people, first destroy their idols. Something to that effect. In the 80s Rupert Murdoch’s publishing company started publishing salacious books about JFK. The GOP has worked to tear down his memory since This is a continuation of that.
