Time for my #readingwrapup for October. I read 16 books: 3 novels, 2 graphic novels, 2 manga, 4 novellas, and 4.5 audiobooks with a .5 nonfiction book, lol. I'll explain. I had an average rating of 3.5 but read some really good ones too. I got a good balance of audio and nonfiction this month. 💙📚
So i didn't fall back to sleep until 430 am, and it's almost 1230 now. I'll let you know if my brain decides to drop me right back into this dream (it likes to do that sometimes) or if I'm exhausted enough by now to sleep until my alarm goes off. 💭💭🥸
My brain decided i needed to have a childhood nightmare, for old time's sake, so here we are at 230am.
Strangely, though, the bad guy was Reita, which was still terrifying.

I had a lot of dull, monotonous work today, so I started listening to Midnight in Chernobyl by Adam Higginbotham. It's really interesting to learn more about nucular power (giggles). I'm about 25% through. 💙📚💡 📚🎧

I DNFd this. Page 324. I was pushing through all the TrAgIc flashbacks, all the whiny "woe is me this isn't my fault," all the poor decisionmaking for the PLOT (omg she is so dumb!), but i draw the line at the cliche student/teacher affair. It's not even a spoiler bc it's so ... so ... pointless. 📚💙
