Growing up in Belfast in the 1970s, Halloween meant trying to carve a raw turnip into a lantern, binbag costumes, sweaty plastic false faces and indoor fireworks (we weren’t allowed the real ones, for obvious reasons). And we loved a good ghost story too!

If you are in #Belfast this weekend, I highly recommend the 1798 tour. It’s a part of Belfast’s history that doesn’t get the attention it deserves, but it is very much part of the “story” of this wee place.

We had four tours out in the sunshine this morning - two History of Terror groups and two for our Best of Belfast tour, one of which was this private group from Backroads Travel.

We had four tours out in the sunshine this morning - two History of Terror groups and two for our Best of Belfast tour, one of which was this private group from Backroads Travel.
