At Buckeye fly in last night in the AOPA tent.. My first time. Amazing show, growing really nicely very year. Met some amazing fellow GA pilots, and then this. Mind blowing night time aerobatics, with attached fireworks! #buckeyeflyin #airshows #arizona

Public Broadcasting is an essential part of a functioning democracy. It’s also an essential part of spreading democracy and truth throughout the world. Govt in power will always pick on Public Broadcasters because, as with all good journalists, they question those in power. (Disclosure I’m ex BBC)

@jheil.bsky.social Huge fan. Love Impolitic, but was also a BBC/ITV producer. I’ll give you The Simpsons. But James Earl Jones only TV Drama was on the BBC, and it wasn’t $’s. I’ll raise you Afterlife, The Office, maybe we meet around “The Great” Channel 4/Hulu. Like an AC Cobra. Better together?

Compass CEO: We're no longer having a view that mortgage rates are going to go to the 5s next year or even the following year...

CNBC Host: Did you have high hopes for a 5 handle?

CEO: I did two months ago before the election...But then with the election between tariffs, inflationary policies...

@mcuban.bsky.social is spot on with this observation. I have no doubt there are other flood zone and wildfire areas that will be close behind Florida.
Home insurance in areas hit by repetitive disasters is going to be the number one housing affordability issue over the next 4 years. And possibly going into the midterms.

More so than interest rates. Florida in particular is going to have huge problems.
Here in Florida we have a housing crisis of our own - developers are building affordable homes all around, but many are sitting empty because people can't afford the necessary home insurance.
