I don't know much about Charlie Kirk, beyond a handful of political sound bites that I certainly did not agree with. I may not mourn him, but I do wish peace and healing for the family he leaves behind, but I suspect that instead they will be left dealing with their loss being weaponized.

So I finally saw KPop Demon Hunters over the weekend with Zoey, at Alamo Drafthouse for their sing-along movie party, and I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. Its hype is well deserved.

Wow Superman! This is what I have waited my entire adult life to see--no Christ analogy, no cynical moodiness, but a story that explores & embraces what it means to BE Superman. As a kid I loved Superman and this has made me love him all over again. Thank you so much, @jamesgunn.bsky.social & co!
