Finally quit X today. Stayed in this sewer to keep in touch with what bonkers far right authoritarian climate change denying Reform voting GB news watching ‘people’ are saying. But had enough, Musk a very dangerous man for our planet & Pro-Trump, Pro-Robinson, Pro-Russian algorithm just too much

People genuinely hoped the end of the cold war would mean more on peace and less on war - sadly turned out badly - a naive view of the world
Also, in my role as John Major’s No.1 defender: it was right call to cut defence spending in 1990. UK, as with rest of Europe, had plenty of opportunity and warning between then and now to start rearming.
