Thank you @robertwhitedc.bsky.social & @cmlewisgeorgew4.bsky.social for working to protect domestic violence survivors from expedited eviction based on their victimization. Domestic violence survivors need more access to safe housing (not barriers to keeping it!). Protect safe housing for survivors!

@robertwhitedc.bsky.social Thank you for adding in some protections for domestic violence survivors from expedited eviction in the #RENTALAct. We can and must do more to provide meaningful access and greater protection for survivors. Please support @cmlewisgeorgew4.bsky.social amendment!

@cmlewisgeorgew4.bsky.social Thank you for your support of domestic violence survivors in the #RENTALAct - Making it easier to evict crime victims and domestic violence survivors will make it harder for DC families to maintain safe and stable housing.

Protect safe housing for DV survivors!

As we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, we uplift stories of Hispanic survivors and advocates. Nearly 1 in 3 Latinas will experience DV, yet cultural and language barriers often limit access to services.
