Chickasaw/Choctaw. Fairly good at Wordle. I weave rugs and read books.
The Buffalo Hunter Hunter by @sgj.bsky.social has got me saying sentences like "My brain and heart feel like they've been hit by a semi-truck convoy... but it's beautiful?" "The most impactful book I've ever read that has a character whose fate reminds me of the movie 'Tusk'."

TikTok changed something during The Thanos Snap. I have not seen a single political commentator on my FYP today (previously they were about 10% of what I watched). TODAY. January 20, 2025. I don't think they all chose to take TODAY off.

Anyone else flip through IG Reels and go, "Well, I guess I'm finally going to reach that goal of finishing my TBR." #tiktokban

I decided I kind of hated everything about the clock app this weekend so I turned it off to see what I could accomplish instead.

Y'all...I listened to four audiobooks in 36 hours. I'm basically Bradley Cooper in Limitless now.

As an American, I've been stuck in a loop for 20+ years of seeing Robbie Williams on Graham Norton and going, "Oh, that song 'Rock DJ' song was really good!", looking it up, and then going, "Err... Is he trying to rap? No, I can't. Too embarrassing." Hooky chorus tho....

Been covering up book club stickers on books with certificate seals. I know it sells books, but it feels wrong to see a permanent "Rich White Lady Seal of Approval" right next to the name of a phenomenal author that poured themselves into this work. Praise be to Tia Williams 👏👏👏

I’m watching Supernatural for the first time.

Every time I finish a season I’m like, hooray! Sam and/or Dean Supered the Natural!

Then I see how many I still need to watch and despair. Too much Super to Natural.

I don't know about anyone else, but the Indian Lake trilogy managed to inspire and salve the grieving soul of THIS [points to self] biracial Native woman who uses horror movies to process her Still-in-Progress-Traumatic Stress Disorder.
