In the city of Bannu, Khyber #Pakhtunkhwa, two suicide blasts struck the Cantonment area at the time of Iftar, destroying nearby houses and burying many people under the #rubble.

IDPs displaced by the military operation Zarb-e-Azb in North #Waziristan were targeted during a military operation at the Bannu Baka Khel this morning. An innocent child was martyred, & another was injured. The state will label them as Terorist & congratulate forces on “successful” operation.

Waziristan consists of two districts, South Waziristan & North Waziristan. Mir Ali is a tehsil of North #Waziristan. In just one tehsil, 3 youths were killed in target killings yesterday & 3 were killed in target killings today. 3 children including a woman were injured in a drone attack on a house.

Today, in D I Khan district, tribal elders Malik Khair Muhammad Wazir & Malik Sangin Wazir were martyred in two separate incidents of targeted killings. The elders of #Waziristan are not safe anywhere. Talking about peace becomes such a grave crime that these elders are silenced with bullets.
