I know I’m not the only one who has complicated feelings around July 4th. This country was stolen & built off of the backs of indigenous people. We’re also continuously seeing rights being taken away from others. Today, my partner made an incredible playlist for the ‘rebels’.

I know I’m not the only one who has complicated feelings around July 4th. This country was stolen & built off of the backs of indigenous people. We’re also continuously seeing rights being taken away from others. Today, my partner made an incredible playlist for the ‘rebels’.

if millions (+) are being spent on detention centers & c camps, than clearly, we could be putting that money towards housing our communities in need. we already have corrupt prison systems - we don’t need or want more.
If it took 8 days to build a massive concentration camp in Florida then it means they could build and house the homeless at any point but choose not to
