Thankful for medical technicians with good technique. When you down the say getting scanned, poked and x-rayed it’s nice when you have empathetic tech who are good at their job.
And having bone marrow drawn sucks no matter who is doing it. 😂

My reading was divided almost exactly 1/3 each physical books, digital and audiobooks. So I do t have a cool stack of books to show for 2024 so I’ll leave you with this. It was a mix of history, biography and fiction with a smattering of sociology.

Five and a half years ago today I met someone who changed my life for the better in so many ways. She has taught me so much, encouraged, challenged and held me in moments of grief. I’m am so much better for knowing her. Thank you so much dear one, you are a wonder.

Thanks to everyone who reached out after yesterday’s trip to the ER. The IV fluids and the sedatives resulted in a 12 hr nap. Fever is down, white count is still up though. Hopefully a few more days of rest will have me back in shape.

Spent the day at the ER with a crazy high fever and a severely elevated white count. I’ll be following up with my care team tomorrow., but it’s looking like this Christmas will be pretty low key.
