New Senior President of Tribunals annual report published.

The report acknowledges the work of the ELAAS scheme and pro bono representation for applicants to the EAT by FRU volunteers.

Fantastic to hear the value of our work for the tribunal system.

Good luck to everyone who is making applications through the Pupillage Gateway from today, particularly FRU representatives.

There's a host of help and support out there but above all check and recheck your applications for basic mistakes.

#WinOfTheWeek this week is the ongoing contribution of Daniel Hallström from @oldsquarechambers.bsky.social to our work.

Thanks Daniel - this week you were reviewing and drafting EAT appeal grounds, we've no doubt that next week you'll be contributing in another way.

www.bbc.co.uk/news/article.... This is incredibly concerning. Independent scrutiny of the court system was abolished on the pretext it wasn't necessary.

Time for an inquiry into this issue, and for independent scrutiny to be reinstated. Justice is too important to society to operate in the dark.

We have the greatest friends and supporters - thanks to everyone. This money will make a massive difference to our service.
A week ago we attended The Lawyer Awards 2025 as charity partner.

Thanks to this wonderful opportunity, and the efforts of MC Tom Allen we raised an incredible £25,000!

Huge thanks to everyone who donated, made an auction bid or organised the event. Special thanks to Catrin Griffiths as ever!

We have some amazing supporters who put their support into action time and time again.
#WinOfTheWeek Huge thanks to everyone who has shown their support this week including London #LegalWalkers, FRU volunteers, The Institute of Barristers Clerks and The Lawyer Magazine.

We couldn't do it without you!

I'll be on the registration desk if anyone would like to say hello later.

It's a very big day for us because I'm also off to The Lawyer Awards tonight where we're the charity partner. I'm even presenting an award!

Yes, huge thanks to all the fantastic people who work for free to provide #AccessToJustice for people who can't afford legal representation.

Each year volunteers give thousands of hours to help their clients. #VolunteersWeek
Without our volunteers we wouldn’t be able to do what we do.

Not all the work we do leads to headlines for our volunteers and there are many unsung heroes whose quiet work on FRU cases is invaluable. Thanks also to our volunteer trustees.

Thank you to each and every one of you. #VolunteersWeek
