Like so many others in recent weeks, I was laid off. Entering the job market again after 11 years. My friends tell me I’ll have to ace an interview to be noticed now.

Advice needed: What questions would you ask an interviewer?

Was out grocery shopping and a very friendly pastor and I chatted in line. The topic of faith came up and he asked why I left the church, and then remarked his congregation has changed, with some saying it’s too woke, and their focus shifted to punishments for nonbelievers. He’s surprised, I’m not.

Building a little community. I’ve talked to neighbors and come Spring, we’re going to try using our very small backyards for something akin to victory gardens. It won’t be much, but maybe we can save a few dollars to buy those “cheap eggs” certain demographics voted for.

Didn’t see much use in Twitter, even less for X.

Hoping for a new beginning.
