Come on, spring, we can use your presence these days—the leaves, the flowers, returning birds. These crocus are the first to come up in my front yard, under a dogwood; the snowdrops are on the hillside a quarter mile away, the abandoned house of Minnie Hite Moody, local author, who died in 1993.

Sat down at 6:30 to watch NBC news, and instead they were airing Trump and part of his live "speech" and then some signing of exec. orders. More childish, shameful, bitter, psychotic, nonsensical, clueless, dangerous than you can imagine. What a cascade of disasters and ruin and violence...
