There’s nothing you can’t talk about with students. You just can’t be racist or anti-trans because they will rightly call you out and universities should support them in doing so.

Did my invited thing on the EEF and evidence-based practice with the Secondary PGCE cohort this morning. I wish more of my colleagues could see me in my flow. This really is what I do. Students responded well.

When some guy who’s big in another field says something vaguely philosophical they think sounds cool but is wrong and you’re about to put them in their place then you realise that the audience is whooping and won’t notice how much you are going to own them and you’re just going to look churlish.
