@mrjamesob.bsky.social zabaglione in Belgium is called Sabayon and often uses champagne instead of Marsala. A chef in Antwerp offered to make it for us even though it was off menu but only if we let him use Kriek ( sour cherry beer) instead. A taste revelation and heartily recommended.

Nowt wrong with geotechnical engineers on social media, I must pull you up on the amount of boring on geotechnical engineering courses. Barely saw a rig on my degree course but 30 years on and they're still getting bigger and better.

Wasn't looking to have my head in the clouds but couldn't carry on banging it against a brick wall any more. Hoping to catch up with old friends in the new place and develop a fresh SM feed free of that odd musky smell.
