The administration got rid of 18F under the cover of night. People who own skyscrapers are afraid of 100 people who make websites.

Not because of the latest tech fad, but because we proved the government can be fixed, the government can be made better and the government can work for the people.

This was the org that made me realize the government could do web development and inter-agency consulting well, and save money with their work. That they are gutted so easily, fills me with dread and rage. These are the type of slash and burn cuts made by a tyrannical madman.

I love the @omahalibrary.bsky.social. Filled out the book recommendation form online like at noon and it was already approved and purchased a couple hours later!

Last night, one of my kids had a random one-and-done barf all over his bed and sheets. Which was the perfect night to have my washing machine's motor fail to run and go out of service.
