It's 3 AM here. I'm glad that I managed to finish reading sickit-learn's official tutorials in the following link. although I already had read a book on scikit-learn, I felt it would be nice to have a look at its docs too. from tomorrow, I'll work on projects.

It's 3 AM here. I'm glad that I managed to finish reading sickit-learn's official tutorials in the following link. although I already had read a book on scikit-learn, I felt it would be nice to have a look at its docs too. from tomorrow, I'll work on projects.

I looked into the documentations of mock object library of Python (unittest library) and read it till The Patchers section. It is almost verbose. so I read the rest later, maybe tomorrow. for rest of today, I may give Sickit-Learn a shot.

Yesterday, I accepted to be the coach of someone in Germany. My friend and ex colleague in Germany introduced me to her. She doesn't have a tech background. She started learning Python on herown but needs help as she's behind schedule. Our first session is tomorrow. I hope I can be helpful :)

I'm pretty satisfied with myself tonight. I feel productive. Finally, after almost 4 days of struggling with crawling youtube pages, I got to overcome all key challenges on my way. The result is satisfying 🙂

Thanks @thomas-manthey.de for his advice on my profile picture. my LinkedIn now seems more professional. it still has some works like adding my projects, portfolio website and some more information. I'll complete it in future.

My account has been restricted again 🙃 habitually I use proxy/VPN to get around internet censorship in Iran. I assume that LinkedIn is sensitive to frequent changing my IP addresses.
Started today with good news on my restricted LinkedIn account! the support team opened it up after 4 days correspondence. they told I should let them to remove one of my accounts or merge them into one. I told them to remove my oldest account as I want to build up my connections from scratch.
They restricted my account. for verification they don't accept my passport as the government ID is not supported by Linkedin🤷♂️ loads of different blocks on my way to become a data expert from pricey, censored internet, sky-high inflated electronic techs, to limited access to world services and techs.

The bad news is that I will lose all endorsements I gathered with my older account :) but I don't mind. I'll take them again.

Started the first day of 2024 with learning about Diffusion model and its building blocks + having a review on CNN model as tomorrow I may want to learn on UNet. Now, I'm messing around with Power Query and data transformation on a police dataset on crimes from 2020 to almost the end of 2023

I took a look at M docs and got a sense of key concepts and functions of that. the next thing I'm going to do is watching some video tutorials about data cleaning and transformation with Power Query. then I'll start working on a project afterwards. let's go!
After DAX, I'll probably look at Power Query and its M (M formula language: a scripting language for data transformations in Power Query). Then I might do a few projects with them. let's see how it would pan out.

What did I do the last two weeks? I was really busy with brushing up on my SQL skills, doing 3 projects with SQL, and 2 others with Tableau. one tableau project on covid data (2021-2023), the other on Amsterdam data of Airbnb (2022-2023).

How did I spend this evening? I coded a light and handy price checker to keep me in the loop when I'm not checking market, or I'm deepened in docs. that's going to save my days. I will share the code on my GitHub asap :)

Meanwhile, I started to keep studying Top Notch series books (12 books in all). They help me out with boosting my communication skills. Good communication is vital for my future career in the data analytics/science field.

Finally, my new laptop, HP Victus 15 (Ryzen5 5600h, 1TB ssd, 16GB Ram), is on the way. Although it took a while to be available in the shop and was kind of discouraging, I'm excited about it. It may arrive on Saturday or Sunday. Let's see.
