I wish there were more VR cons than just Furality. Between stuff like COVID and rising costs of con passes, hotels, travel, etc., VR cons are just so much more enjoyable and accessible

a therapist from a DBT group I was in talked a lot about “alternative rebellion” as a way to approach maintaining spoon levels when you’re neurodivergent. Tired and in pain while cleaning the kitchen? Lay down or sit on the floor. Can’t handle rinsing the dishes? Run the dishwasher twice.
This concept was introduced to me as "run the dishwasher twice" and was an important part of my executive functioning recovery as well as my path to self-acceptance.

I tried installing GNOME instead of hyprland on my framework 12 and immediately ran into issues and got frustrated because I can't just build the environment myself lol
