Artefacts have been repatriated from University College Cork to the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square and after conservation, will be put on display as part of the effort to educate about ongoing artefact recovery by the Arab Republic of Egypt

Sudan Police arrested ten foreigners and captured many rare antiquities stolen from Khartoum and South Darfur prepared for smuggling

The artifacts include two statues with inscriptions, 7 copper jugs of different sizes, an ancient dagger and a pan.
