Today I learnt that paying my corporation tax bill early will earn me 4.25% interest from the government, as opposed to the 1.5% interest I’d get from leaving the amount due in my bank account until January. Making money from the taxman feels like a win !

Morning spent clearing feathers off the lawn after a fox had obviously enjoyed a pigeon in the early hours. And now a work call on a bank holiday (the downside of non UK clients)
