Regardless of where you come down on nuclear energy as a part of carbon reduction strategy in principle, specifically demanding that *Three Mile Island* be revved up to meet the boundless power demands of the Bullshitting Machines is pretty thematically blatant
Same goes on the planetary scale: it was starting to look like people might meet their everyday electricity needs with renewables and batteries, and suddenly it’s time to multiply industrial energy consumption to do completely useless things
