It's too early. I don't like it.

There's no universe in which that was a penalty, so justice is done.

Coming to a pivotal moment in the third and final part of the Chon'ith Saga. Gonna be epic.

Meerkat Prompts: When do you feel the most drained?

This is a good question, and a slightly tough one for me to answer. There are various points where I might feel physically tired, but there's also psychological exhaustion too. Sometimes the two meet in the middle, for added fatigue. At the moment, I am at my most tired in the mornings. Early starts, combined with darker mornings, with the prospect of long days, leaves me feeling particularly drained.

"What radicalized you"

Nothing really, its just that society had redefined radicalized to mean "Basic Fucking Human Empathy"

I was intrigued by Football Manager 2026, but will confess to being wary now. It seems after more than a year in development, it's buggy and substandard, which is a real shame.

The Meerkat Muse: 5th of November, 2025

It feels strangely magical that this Muse should fall upon one of the most spectacular non-events in British history - Guy Fawkes Night. Welcome back everyone. A House of Plague A couple of weeks ago, both my wife and daughter came down with an horrendous cold. In fact, at first the worry was my daughter - who was patient zero in this instance - might have caught covid.

The Thinking ‘Kat: The Follies of Farage
Owing in no small part to the unwarranted and thoroughly disproportionate coverage they get from Britain's mainstream media, Nigel Farage's Reform Party is doing well in the polls. Quite why such a small party in terms of MPs is getting so much more attention than say, the Green Party (which has a similar presence in Parliament) is beyond me, but it certainly seems someone somewhere is playing favourites.

If you call me, and I don't answer, and you don't leave a message, I will assume your call is junk/spam. If your call is not intended to waste my time, why not leave a message?

There really needs to be a thorough push against Reform, and the Greens seem to be the ones to do it. They'll get my vote!

This is the face I make when someone is talking and I either have no idea what they're on about, don't care what they're on about, or both, and desperately wish they'd stop talking.

Yesterday two men boarded a train at Peterborough, about an hour north of London. Shortly after getting on, they began to attack passengers with knives. Nine people were hospitalised, and as of the time of writing this, two remain in a life-threatening condition. The two attackers have both been arrested, and are currently in police custody. The police have been quick to downplay the suggestion that this was some form of terrorist attack.

Meerkat Prompts: What’s in a Dream?
Throughout the history of Meerkat Musings I have written of my dreams. There have been some epic nocturnal adventures, including zombie apocalypse dreams, creepy clown dreams, sweeping fantasy dreams, intense sci-fi dreams, emotional dreams, and... well, lets call them romantic dreams. There are many notions as to what dreams mean. Some people consider them windows to the soul. Others see them as the brain's way of sifting through the events and experiences of any given day, though quite what compels…
