I'm seeing what might be the highest saturation of rage on my Bluesky feed since joining. Even folks who generally steer clear of political discourse are tearing into Schumer and the "old guard". Rest assured I share your anger; I'm beyond sick of villains winning and our side capitulating.

When I posted football videos yesterday one might've thought I didn't care about the Dems' atrocious cowardice and the harm that will come from it.
Quite the opposite really; I'm just in the epilogue stage. My goal is to collect a few more nice memories before the country's collapse is complete.

3:06am. I spent the last 9+ hours building my first Android app from scratch and it's been an absolute blast. Big Tech has killed my spirits in recent years, to the point where I've forgotten who I am, but tonight was a revival. My passion for learning and building things is still very much alive. ✊

Big Tech has killed my spirits in recent years, to the point where I've forgotten who I am, but tonight was a revival. My passion for learning and building things is still very much alive. ✊
There are a few acquaintances who are apparently assuming that, after the orange sack of shit finally deprives us of his presence, all hostilities will subside and bygones will be bygones.
Not the case. Those who still support him are truly terrible people; reconciliation will not be possible.

In a way I must extend thanks to Dick Cheney. It was his post-9/11 warmongering that snapped me out my right-wing trance and made me re-evaluate everything. It pushed me to vote for the first time in 2004, and though the result broke my heart, I knew I'd reject all right-wing BS thenceforth. ✌️
