NEW RESEARCH

Americans who embrace Christian nationalism more likely to agree situation f/ people with disabilities is good as it is, disabled people demand too much from rest of society, & there have been enough societal efforts in favor of people w/ disabilities.

A quick whiteboard explaining how the Democrats position on ACA subsidies stops a downward spiral of a spike in both costs and the number of uninsured Americans.

No wonder most Americans support our stance.

This is my first column with @kettering.org f/ their "From Many, We" series. I'll be writing more on Christian nationalism & how it is shaping the moment we find ourselves in.

I hope we can work toward building a country of the people, by the people, & f/ the people, not just a select few.
The NY Times says this administration considers diversity "taboo."

A healthy democracy includes a robust appreciation f/ diversity & widespread civic participation.

Research from the last 10+ years shows Christian nationalism threatens democracy in at least 3 ways:

The newest round of Gerrymandering.

Attack on mail voting.

Attack on census.

The model Trump is following actually conducts elections—because they want to claim legitimacy/mandate.

They just rig them in advance so they can’t lose.

The cowards who feel threatened by our lives should feel lucky they didn’t have to bury the ones they love — then watch the state come & desecrate their memory.
In the dead of night, Ron DeSantis ordered the rainbow crosswalk at the Pulse memorial painted over — defacing a sacred space in the heart of Orlando that honors the 49 lives stolen in one of the deadliest massacres in U.S. history.
