I did a podcast for lnkd.in/grSejDpC

I think it really turned into a great discussion on a wide range of topics. I really hope some of you take the time to listen.

The Short Dark Triad (SD3; Jones & Paulhus, 2014) does an amazing job of differentiating the #darktriad among incarcerated men. Exactly what we would predict from theory and psychometrically sound. #psychopathy #narcissism #machiavellianism #crime #criminaljustice doi.org/10.1177/0093...

People with #emophilia are particularly driven by their desire for emotional connection and tend to jump into new relationships.

This can lead to unique life experiences, such as committing perjury for a partner or being left at the altar.

I will be giving a webinar on the #darktriad traits this coming Tuesday at 10am Mountain time (12pm eastern). This talk not only dives into #narcissim, #psychopathy, and #Machiavellianism, but how to deal with them in the #workplace. This talk will directly build on my #TedxReno talk.

For those who do not believe the term "dark" is not scientific (i.e., "Dark Triad"), just curious if you have read Carl Jung, Erich Nuemann, or Rollo May? Or do they not count as foundational scholars anymore?

When discussing #darktriad traits, it is important to keep in mind the difference between a broken moral compass and an ignored one. Broken means a lack of internal concern for others. Ignoring it means you normally feel that concern, but outside forces interfere using it when making decisions.
