We've arrived in Canberra for the 2025 Annual Meeting of the Dark Matter Centre! Our members have travelled from Melbourne, Adelaide, Western Australia, and Sydney to attend this event.

This dashboard displays the performance of the equipment in our underground lab in Stawell.

The same software reports temperature, humidity and dust levels. This ensures conditions are optimal for the arrival of our #darkmatter experiment. 🧪

The SABRE South #darkmatter experiment has reached an exciting milestone with the arrival of a glovebox in the Stawell Underground Physics Lab.

Scientists will use the glovebox to protect the experiment's ultra-pure crystals from exposure to air, which would cause them to degrade. 💎🧪

We joined @astrokatie.com of @perimeterinstitute.ca and @spaceaustralia.com's Rami Mandow at the Stawell Underground Physics Lab today. Dr Mack was involved with the lab when it was no more than a big idea. Now, it is a state-of-the-art facility soon to host the SABRE South #darkmatter experiment.🧪
