And not to pile on. Yes, Vi is equally committing deep acts of war crimes. She’s complicit in everything that happened in zaun in those first three episodes. I don’t think she’s some little flower who is being manipulated. There’s just a ton of depth to the situation

And again I love caitvi and their kiss still had me and my friends screaming “LETS GOOO” but I also think there’s layers to it which adds to the arc between the two

I think the tumblr post is being very aggressive with their claims but I don’t think they’re wrong in the sense that Caitlyn’s specific need for Vi to be an enforcer is misguided.

And you’re right Vi became a sheriff on her own volition to make things right between zaun and piltover and do what Vander couldn’t. But that is very clearly not what Caitlyn’s end goal is. Caitlyn might not care about piltover but she cares about Vaun a whole lot less

Alright no need to get aggressive here. I’m not trying to make some slander piece on any character. If anything I’m trying to praise the moral grayness of the writing. I don’t think cait particularly cares about Piltover but you cannot deny that she’s taking out her grief on zaun.

Honestly this is why I had a bad feeling about the caitvi kiss. It feels like a very calculated move. I’m not saying it’s manipulative for manipulation sake. obviously it’s because Caitlin loves Vi. But it also feels like a calculated move to keep Vi from questioning her choices. #arcane
