I always thought of this in terms of grooming him for a position by using what was already there to her advantage. So she saw his views, recognised herself there, so knew he was ripe for her agenda. So not in absolving Cullen way & not in a couger way, in cult-leader-needs-a-second-in-command way.
Something something, i really don't like the grooming narrative so many people put between Meredith and Cullen cause it
1. Absolve Cullen from wrong doing and takes away his agency.
2. Erases the nuisance of Meredith to just a grooming cougar, becoming a misogynistic mischaracterization

Something about Josephine calling Cullen a hammer who thinks that the world is nails is so endearing to me. I think people forget that fact sometimes when they describe him.

Update on this again: doing the passion project first and hoping that I'll be so stoked with it that I'll want to go to a con.....
I know my friends will come to the woods and hang out with me if it turns out nice anyway

I really miss my excitement and drive for cosplay. Like I want to be excited for cons and plan to go to them but I just....don't like it that much anymore. I love seeing the people but it's a lot of money and effort when I could just grab dinner with my friends instead :(
