What is age of posters ? I have to say this 1995 scattershot of pop slop really shows how empty and derivative pop was in that time period. Almost all of these are forgotten and did not inspire other stuff

I think these archetypes are more connected to Vietnam war. The sassy antiheros are the soldiers on the ground, and the higher ups follow rules and get people killed. See “Going after Cacciato”
