Not attend. The Dems should do their own state of the Union with all Dems in attendance and offer an alternative vision for America. What they will do to resist and the vision for America post Trump. Pull as many eyes away from Trump as possible.

The left needs to develop a vision for America beyond the status quo we have had. Without it we will be unable to effectively counter this admin. Not individual policies, but an overarching vision and ethos on how Dems would like America to look like.

We need to counter that and be annoyingly vocal about the harm it causes. No matter the state of the economy the conservative media apparatus attacks dem economies, we need to return the favor.

Dems and liberals really need to reign in their outrage. If we are so quick to be offended and outraged, no one will take it seriously when things are actually offensive/wrong. Which in(a very small) part is how we got a second Trump term.

Norms are dead, Dems need to throw out the playbook where norms protect the democracy. The people don’t like the status quo and voted for a bag of burning shit because they thought it would change things. Throw out the norms/status quo and fight dirty for the people and actually change things.
