Removing the 2 child benefit limit was the right thing to do. I don't think it lifts the reported numbers out of poverty as the UK is more expensive than what the benefits can provide but any policy which drastically improves quality of life for so many is evidently the morally right thing to do.

English Teacher at the Albert Hall felt special. A band at the end of a run touring an album that when it's all said and done is easily inside the best 250 best British albums of all time, playing every note to perfection. Amazing album and a great band. Indie perfection.

Taylor Swift's 12th album might be a little disappointing but so was Bob Dylan's, Pat Garrett & Billy the Kid. In this trajectory, it does mean she is 3 albums away from writing her best album with a rock solid, can't be argued contender for best song of all time (Tangled up in Blue).

Watched Masters of Air and it's great. The scene where Rosie discovers the extermination camp though is heartbreaking and is every time you see an equivalent scene in a WW2 drama. It gets me every time even when I know what to expect.

The easiest to deal with illegal migration is to open up safe and reliable legal crossings, with proper processing, placing people where they someone and/or where their skills are most needed. Give people the best possible chance of getting their new life started and help them to build it.
