Bloke came to quote on some work in the house today. Chatting, he told me that Margaret Thatcher’s name had come up in conversation at his home & seeing his kid looking blank, he asked if she knew who she was. Kid: ‘Was she one of Henry VIII’s wives?’ 😂

Woman: Are you a piano teacher?
Me: No!
Her: I just know yr face
Me: Could it be from the bookshop where I used to work?
Her: OMG yes! You’re Danny and you got my reluctant reader son into books. He’s a bookworm now!
MY DAY IS MADE! 🥰
