Tonight I had the opportunity to smell the elusive and forbidden smell. It was awful, and so awesome. One of Dartmouth's corpse flowers bloomed unexpectedly and I was able to visit.

I have a friend who teaches and openly advocates for LGBTQ+ students in this district. Having multiple friends turn up in the news in one week is wild for me. I'm thinking if it feels like they're coming for LGBTQ+ organizers and the most vulnerable members of our demographic, it's because they are.

I've got to share this one without saying too much, but I've said before, the teachers in the DoD schools (who work for the federal government and Congress is their school board) are the canaries in our coal mine. And the NYT was cautious about how much they shared to protect the teachers that spoke
