WILL EISNER: A COMICS BIOGRAPHY - Developing the character designs: Will as a young man. Most of the photos of Will in his 20s & 30s show him at work, which is okay, since we show him at work a lot, too. But definitely needed the non-work pictures as well. Coming soon from @nbmpub.bsky.social

The last shot of "Vendetta of a Samurai" (1952, d. Kazuo Mori) is an amazing piece of filmmaking and acting. I drew an homage to what Toshiro Mifune does in that closeup of 25 seconds or so.
