I never pass up the chance to tell this story - when I was three we adopted a cat from the Dumb Friends League. I got to name it. I was obsessed with the Nuggets, so it was Doug Moe, the cat. (When he got fired not long after a name change to ‘Paul Westhead’ didn’t take.)

Winning on the road on Big Monday is just hard as hell - you could see Houston’s legs go a little in that final 10 minutes just like Arizona’s did at KU last week - what a super basketball game

I don’t particularly care how they arrived at the conclusion, it’s the right conclusion to get the strike zone off the screen, it makes for a much better and cleaner viewing experience!

I guess this is the clause in Tang's contract that KSU is trying to use to get out of the deal?

Not shocked it happened - the buyout is a huge number but if you want a guy gone you make it happen - but a little shocked it happened mid-season. That press conference on Wednesday - and the paper bags in the student section - must have been the last straw
Upon further review... I don't think it'll be any of those teams, I think it'll be the Bears. That fits the 'champ vs up-and-comer' mold of a lot of recent NFL Kickoff games. And as much as the NFL will be dying to get Mahomes' return game in prime time, they just won't know when that will be in May
So with their two main divisional rivals already spoken for that week, that means the (WORLD CHAMPION) Seattle Seahawks are probably going to open against either…
-the Pats (but how appealing is the rematch?)
-the Cowboys (yuck)
-the Chiefs (with NBC execs praying Mahomes is back Week 1)
-the Pats (but how appealing is the rematch?)
