The Running Man was ....... fine. Did anyone else find it just a little bit pedestrian? Felt to me like it could have been made by any old Gun for hire director tbh.

#LastFourWatched Not a bad little run, honestly had no idea what to do with Dogtooth, could probably argue anything from 1 to 5 tbh.

Can't believe another series of Taskmaster has come to an end. 10 weeks bloody pisses by.

I dont think a film has ever looked more smug than this one does.

Ah so we can expect this in what 2028?

Wonder if it'll be another 8 episodes not telling a complete story and just setting up the next season.
Noah Hawley's FX show #AlienEarth has been renewed for Season 2 on Disney+/Hulu.

Shooting on the Alien prequel's second onslaught of space-based horror is set to get underway in London next year.

Reckon the first Alien vs Predator deserves reappraisal in light of Badlands success. I mean I've always enjoyed it tbh. Its clear when I hear certain critics from certain publications speaking on certain podcasts in very derogatory terms about it, that they haven't seen it in a long while.

Are there people who really consider Bond as one continuity?

I stand corrected.
No one is paying any attention to these "controversies", honestly online film reporting is so far divorced from actual reality it's scary.
‘CHRISTY’ is better than the average sports biopic, but it’s now being overshadowed by Sydney Sweeney’s recent controversies.

Slowly but surely working the fucking Hobbit out of my most watched stats. Oh and yes you are reading that right, I have seen the Jim Carrey Christmas Carol 11 times and I will offering no apology for that.

Fuck me I can't decide which discourse is more tiresome at the moment Scream 7 or Predator: Badlands. The only conclusion I am can come to is that we are all fucking idiots that don't deserve anything good.

Do folks still subscribe to print magazines? Clearly I do. There was a time when I would keep every copy but after lugging them through various house moves its just not practical. Plus I very, very rarely go back to a past issue. I feel bad every time I dump a load of them in the recycling though.

Nearly a pretty great end to Halloween and then V/H/S came and fucked it up.

Watched Ms.45 earlier (pretty cool). Unlocked a new movie crush, Darlene Stuto, this her only credit. Sad face.

And we complain about lack or original ideas in Hollywood.

In theaters on November 13, 2026.

Foo Fighters are such a bland vanilla band generally but I do really like this one.

Despite selling out our entire run in York, London sales for THE SIGNAL-MAN & THE TRIAL FOR MURDER are still a bit slow. We've got six showings between 31st October and 2nd November. A very classic Halloween treat, I'd argue - and in Charles Dickens's (probably definitely haunted) house!

With the "unfortunate" news about Ian Watkins I was curious to see how many listeners Lost Prophets still had on Spotify - 282k people going for some extreme 'separating art from artist' it seems.

Didn't have a Christmas album by The Pretty Reckless on my list of things I expected to see this year.
