📽️ Last night I had the chance to go to the avant-premiere of Oldboy, one of the most powerful pieces of Korean art ever made.

The OST enhances emotions and complements the beautiful cinematography. The performances are unforgettable.

If you can watch this film in the big screen, do not miss it.

Personally I think he needs work on his storytelling. For what I have seen before he works best when interacting with the crowd, something that doesn’t happen. Most of the jokes fell flat and lost my interest completely before we got halfway into the special.

One thing The Crown is doing perfectly is portraying the toxicity, intensity and stress of being stalked my photographers 24/7. I am feeling claustrophobic just watching what is happening on the screen.

📽️ movie night

Jerry Maguire remains one of the most delightful films I have ever seen. The script is smart, funny and heartfelt. The directing thoughtful; and it stars a group of actors who give earnest performances that make it impossible to not love each and every single of them.

The Dicky Fox quote from Jerry Maguire that goes:

“Hey, I don't have all the answers. In life, to be honest, I failed as much as I have succeeded. But I love my wife. I love my life. And I wish you my kind of success.”

Still one of the best life lessons from a 📽️ ever.

For a 86 minute film, it felt long. I think my biggest issue was the editing and how structured the story. I also spent a good part of the film wondering why I have seen this before, until the big reveal and I realized this is the lesser version of While You Were Sleeping. No, thank you.

📽️Killers of the Flower Moon is a must watch. Every minute of this story felt justified for its production quality but mostly for its importance on a subject historically ignored. A story everyone should know about.

Lily Gladstone gives a performance unlike anything we have seen in recent years.

ATTENZIONE PICKPOCKET! The new season of Lupin is already available and it’s as good as always. Omar Sy gives our favourite french gentleman thief a new depth to his actions, while secondary characters shine in a well rounded development that complements the main story.
