Ended 2025 randomly discovering actual original manuscripts by Beethoven (insanely chaotic pen work beat by beat!), Mozart and Messiaen (very tidy which is insane as written in a POW camp) in Paris.. absolutely breathtaking and made me a little bit emotional.. HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Sad to hear about the death of Dave Ball.
For me it was THE GRID, his band with Richard Norris that had a HUGE impact on me. Their album 456 was one that I played relentlessly. It was my electro entry point.

Really sad to hear the icon that was Jilly Cooper has died. In one of the more surreal elements of my life I met her at a dinner once, got on great and she got really into my music (which was very unexpected!).
We would trade Xmas cards every year, hers always covered in dogs and her tiny writing.
