Dutch GP leaves the calendar after this year so it’s a direct replacement for Zandvoort. Places Barcelona’s long term future as an annual F1 venue in further doubt, though.

Had a late breakfast this morning and came close to losing it just now when I saw a video of MBS getting a standing ovation from the room when his re-election was confirmed – after an election in which no-one was allowed to stand against him.
The FIA has announced the outcome of its presidential 'election' in Tashkent today.

It's being sold as Marko choosing to step down, with Oliver Mintzlaff saying: "Helmut approached me with the wish to end his role as motorsport advisor at the end of the year. I deeply regret his decision."

Lot of love for Hannah Schmitz after Red Bull's principal strategy engineer took to the podium alongside Max Verstappen in Qatar. Can't help but feel that was a very deliberate decision from RB after McLaren messed up their strategy and handed them another lifeline in the drivers' title battle.
After Red Bull made the right pit stop call which won the race for Max Verstappen, it's only fitting that head strategist Hannah Schmitz will be on the podium with the Dutchman!
