🚨 New plesiosaur paper 🚨
After 12 years of work, our paper about Seeleyosaurus was published today. Seeleyosaurus was the first complete plesiosaur found in Germany. The holotype at the NHM Berlin is almost complete, articulated and even has fossilised skin. 1/6

🚨 New paper on #Jurassic #plesiosaurs! 🚨

In our new study, we describe two new Pliensbachian occurrences from Germany. The more intriguing of the two represents the only reliably identified early Pliensbachian #pliosaurid described to date.
