Lower growth, including grass and shrubs, appears in soft patches of lighter green along the riverbank, creating a transitional zone between the clear, reflective stream and the towering forest canopy. The forest rises against a backdrop of hazy gray skies and faintly visible ridges. The haze, caused by a nearby wildfire, blankets the distant treetops in a soft, smoky veil, muting the outline of the higher elevations. Wahkeena Falls

Fly Agaric (Amanita muscaria)
