I could hardly imagine a better guest than Hans Rusinek for this episode of our newsletter Work/Code. As a
"pracademic" who combines academic research and consulting, Hans has a very practical lense on AI and work but never misses the big questions workcode.substack.com/p/hans-rusin...
Hans Rusinek: "When all companies use AI, the human factor becomes decisive"
When adopting a "practical optimism", workers and organisations can maintain agency even in the age of AI

GitHub has a systematic approach to enhancing AI skills across the whole company. And their bottom-up approach means that teams decide how they want AI to help them. As a result, GitHub found that nearly every team has benefitted from AI. workcode.substack.com/p/matt-nigh-...

The next few episodes of our Work/Code newsletter focus on how companies can adapt AI. This is crucial to move beyond the prototype and explorative phase so I am really excited about today's interview with Lufthansa's Cindy Richter: workcode.substack.com/p/cindy-rich...

Our series on AI and the future of work continues with a conversation with Jonas Andrulis, founder of German AI firm Aleph Alpha. Jonas argues that a chatbot connected to your hard drive does not solve business problems. Context is king.

Jonas Andrulis: "Digitize the state! That’s the foundation we all stand on"
The co-founder of Aleph Alpha argues the real risk of AI isn’t job loss – it’s speed, concentration of power, and whether Europe chooses to build or just buy

Carl Benedikt Frey: "Professionals are not prepared for the coming changes"
AI will have the same effect on white-collar workers as the 1970s de-industrialisation had on blue-collar workers. But economies can, and must, adapt.

Quick question: Everybody seems to say that the OpenAI / Jony Ive collab is an attack to Apple. Why? Apple is not relevant in the AI space. I’d say it’s an attack on Google who run both an OS and corresponding hardware and amazing software. What’s your take?
